I thought I would write a little bit about something called a ‘learning curve’.
It’s always fascinated me how we as human beings learn new skills and develop our abilities to do things. There is always a process to everything and a cycle of ups and downs on the way to mastery. The reason that I find this subject so interesting is mainly due to the fact that I myself love learning.
I always think that understanding about learning curves is very relevant to anybody attempting to master new skills and learning how to meet women is no different.
Most men start off wanting some pick up lines and few slick moves. They think that this will be enough to see them through to success. It’s only when they get serious about wanting to get this part of their lives handled, they realize how much of an intense and full subject this really is. It quickly becomes apparent that its not so much about the ‘techniques’, it’s more about sorting out their own personal stuff and baggage. This is when the hard work needs to be put in and things can go very slowly, especially in the beginning. When you are trying out new things, reading new books and talking to other like minded individuals. Most of the time it will feel like it’s just not happening.
This is something that I understand very well, This is what I teach. This my friends, is always the road to mastery. Most of the time when you want to learn a new skill, there are long periods of frustration where you feel like you just aren’t improving. Hell, sometimes you even feel like you are going backwards and regressing.
The biggest gains are usually made early on when it comes to pick up. I have literally seen guys who can not even look at a woman directly, let alone speak to her. Reading books and articles does tend to help at first as this new found knowledge on the subject can spike confidence. This can only ever be a good thing as long as its getting you out of your shell.
When guys attend my bootcamps, or take private coaching, their confidence and skills always sky rocket due to the intense nature of the way we run things.
We know from experience that this does work and is the quickest possible way to get you going and out there now! When you get to this point, its now just a matter of following through, putting in constant effort and slowly mastering the subject for permanent internalisation and on going success.
This is a very crucial point to be at and its really do or die. You have to keep working on the skill. This is where understanding about learning curves will hopefully give you some further understanding of the process that you are going through. If anything, understanding learning curves will insure your ongoing determination and persistence and not allow you to give up and go back to your old ways.
Its very sad in human nature, but the majority of people in our society want something for nothing. They want things, skills, money etc, but they are not willing to work for it and put in the hard yards.
There is a law of nature regarding persistence. NO MATTER WHAT YOU WANT TO ATTAIN IN LIFE, YOU WILL SUCCEED AS LONG AS YOU PERSIST. EVEN IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHERE TO START OR HOW TO GET TO THE NEXT LEVEL. IF YOU JUST DO WHAT YOU CAN RIGHT NOW AND KEEP SEARCHING AND WORKING TO MOVE FORWARD. YOU WILL UlTIMATLY FIND A WAY!!!
In my life I have always wanted things and to have it all. I also know that when I make up my mind to get something, I always find ways to attain it and win!
Do I get it right away? No!
Does it seem like I am not making progress most on the time? Yes!
Do I keep going forward regardless of challenges and set backs? Yes!
Will I eventually succeed? Always!!
Just take it as a given, when you are attempting to learn something new, master a skill or attain any type of success, it will seem like the whole world is against you at first. It can almost feel like, nobody wants you to succeed. The more effort you seem to put in, the more setbacks seem to occur.
THIS IS THE TIME WHERE YOUR PERSISTENT NATURE AND DETERMINATION IS TESTED. DO YOU REALLY WANT IT BADLY ENOUGH AND ARE YOU WILLING TO WORK THROUGH AND FIND A WAY?
The road to success can be slow and painful at times, but… The rewards you receive when you finally arrive, will be well worth it!!!
